Special Olympics Area M provides year-round sports training and competition opportunities for individuals from age 6 and up with intellectual disabilities. Area M offers 19 different Olympic-type sports at no cost to the athletes or their families.

Special Olympics Area M relies on local support for volunteers in coaching, fund raising, and organizing.
