We are currently making plans for the 2012 AREA M ADULT GAMES sponsored by the Federally Employed Women and are looking forward to having you participate.
This is the Twenty-second year for Adult Games at Mechanicsburg. As always, we need you to come and help us make this the biggest and best event ever!! The event will be held at the Mechanicsburg Naval Support Activity in Mechanicsburg on
Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Events are open to any Special Olympic Athlete 18 years or older who has a current Special Olympic medical (current within three years of physical). There is no cost for this event and lunch will be provided. In case of inclement weather, announcement will be made on local radio/TV for cancellation as there is no rain date for the games.
As in years past, we are planning both competitive and leisure events this year. You may choose to compete in up to 3 events, skills events, bowling or track and field, or 2 events for swimming. You will need to train and practice for your events prior to April 28th to be sure you are ready to do your best.
