Welcome to Special Olympics Area M!
Our Mission: Special Olympics PA Area M helps children and adults with intellectual difficulties grow stronger with body, mind and spirit through a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition.
Our Purpose: Special Olympics is focused on accomplishments rather than winning or losing. The benefit to the athlete is increased confidence and positive self image. In addition involvement on the part of family and friends helps develop healthier family relationships and greater acceptance by the community as a whole.
Our Words To Live By:
“LET ME WIN. BUT IF I CAN NOT WIN, LET ME BE BRAVE IN THE ATTEMPT”
